Her oldest sister, Eva, is eight years old.

I am a stay at home mom and my husband manages a state park. We are animal lovers and share our household with 3 cats: Scout, Sage and Mr. Claus, and 8 dogs. Our dogs range from our loving old Beagle: Snickers, our 5 Alaskan Malamutes: Ember, Elskan, Mauki, Kitty, and Boo, 1 Alaskan Husky named Cocoa, and our adorable Icelandic Sheepdog: Selah.

Maddy is the sunshine in our house. She is the constant smile and joy. We began treating Maddy's Autism with ABA as well as speech and occupational therapy. Currently, Maddy has graduated from all of her therapies which included ABA, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. She no longer meets criteria for Autism nor any special needs. Her official diagnosis is "Autistic Disorder: Remission (Residual State)."

Our ABA team was homebased and consisted of an 8 person volunteer effort. We have a psychologist to oversee Maddy's progess as well as the Center for Autism and Related Disorders provided us with our curriculum.  We are Maddy's Voice.
