- Let Me Hear Your Voice by Catherine Maurice
- Behavioral Intervention for Young Children With Autism: A Manual for Parents and Professionals
- The Way I See It: A Personal Look at Autism and Asperger's by Temple Grandin
- Living With Rain Girl: And other under the weather conditions by Angela Loeppky
My thoughts on any general "all you need to know about autism" books. I don't necessarily recommend them. Simply because they are very generic. Many of the beliefs taught in these books have a hard time pin pointing the reality of living with someone with Autism. Every book on my list tells a real life account of autism.
